Actress Lee Bo-young will be leading local streaming platform Coupang Play’s new original series, “Hide.”
The streaming platform announced that actors Lee Moo-saeng and Lee Chung-ah also confirmed they will join the upcoming mystery thriller series.
The Korean adaptation of BBC’s hit series, “Keeping Faith,” follows the story of a woman, Na Moon-young (Lee Bo-young), whose husband, Cha Sung-jae (Lee Mu-saeng) vanishes into thin air. As she traces the truth behind her husband’s disappearance, she stumbles upon unbearable secrets.
Lee Chung-ah will play the role of Ha Yeon-joo, who is Na’s friendly neighbor.
The new series, scheduled to roll out in the first half of 2024, is penned by scriptwriter Yoo Bo-ra, who wrote the melodrama series, “Reflection of You” (2021), and will be helmed by director Kim Dong-hwi, whose previous works include the period romance series, “The Tale of Nokdu” (2019), and the rom-com series, “Fight for My Way” (2017).
