A Culinary Map of Asia: The Noodle House Launches Epic Curry Tour & Dim Sum Masterclasses

Dubai, UAE: The Noodle House, the home-grown casual dining concept established in Dubai, is spicing things up with a special limited-edition menu. Inspired by the vibrant street food culture of culinary hot-spots like Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia, The Noodle House is the home of Asian soul food in the UAE. The restaurant offers a contemporary take on comforting Asian dishes.

Launched in celebration of National Curry Week, this limited-time menu is set to take UAE foodies on a flavourful journey across the continent.

Handcrafted by Chef Fetty Aryanie, the selection samples a quintet of signature curries from five distinct regions: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore. Guided by its "chopsticks-hands-spoon" philosophy, The Noodle House celebrates the diversity of Asian dining traditions, and this new menu is an exotic journey of taste that includes noodles served all-ways to discovering Umami, Asia’s enigmatic fifth taste.

A Flavourful Journey Through Southeast Asia

The curated menu features five classic and adventurous dishes, all priced at just AED76. From Indonesia, guests can taste the nation's most beloved dish, Rendang Daging, which is a rich, slow-cooked dried beef simmered with coconut milk and aromatic lemongrass. Malaysia is represented by the classic Ayam Kapitan, a heritage ginger-fused chicken dish originating from Penang.

Seafood lovers should dive into the Filipino plate, Ginataang Hipon, which features succulent shrimps simmered in a creamy coconut curry with squash and long beans. For a hearty option, Thailand offers Gaeng Massaman Kae, a lamb shank curry that beautifully blends traditional Thai flavours with Persian influences, featuring potatoes, peanuts, and palm sugar. Completing the tour is the renowned Kari Ikan Singapura, a Singaporean fish curry that brings an authentic and adventurous flavour to the selection.

Master the Art of Dim Sum

Beyond its curry tour, The Noodle House is inviting food lovers to roll up their sleeves and master the art of dim sum this season. The popular dim sum masterclass series returns with interactive, chef-led workshops across multiple Dubai locations. Brand Chef Fetty Aryanie, who also curated the curry menu, explains that "Dim sum has always been about sharing in the form of small bites with big flavours that bring people together around food."

Each session gives guests the chance to explore authentic folding techniques, learn about traditional fillings and craft their own perfect dumplings under the guidance of the culinary experts. These workshops are designed to give guests an authentic yet accessible experience, where they can learn the techniques, understand the craft and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something from scratch.

The hands-on masterclasses will focus on technique rather than full cooking. Guests will learn the art of stuffing, folding and shaping signature dumplings. The experience begins with a refreshing iced tea welcome drink, followed by a light lunch that includes a basket of assorted dim sum for each participant to enjoy after the class.

To commemorate the experience, participants will take home a souvenir set including a reusable branded tote bag, the iconic Noodle House pen and the apron provided for use during the masterclass. Workshops are open to the public with limited spaces available per session. Private hires are also available, ideal for team-building, client entertainment, birthdays or press and influencer experiences.
