OPENING WEDNESDAY 14 MAY AT ZIDOUN-BOSSUYT GALLERY IN PARIS

From 6 PM to 8 PM

Exhibition: 14 May - 19 July 2025

Zidoun-Bossuyt Paris is pleased to announce the opening of Sun Up, Sun

Down_, American artist Summer Wheat's second solo exhibition in Paris.

The opening will take place on Wednesday 14 May, from 6 PM to 8 PM, in

the presence of the artist, at 51 rue de Seine, 75006 Paris.

The exhibition will feature new works from her latest series of horse

paintings, inspired by childhood activities such as chasing butterflies

or catching frogs. These pastimes serve as metaphors for the struggle to

maintain focus in the digital age, illustrating the challenge of staying

attentive amidst the overstimulation of social media. Like a butterfly

slipping through a net, the artist unveils this endless pursuit,

immersing us in a world where every detail seems to vibrate with

palpable intensity.

give a talk about her monograph _Forager_, published by Rizzoli Books at

the Silencio Book Club, in discussion with Tiphaine Masurel, on

Thursday 15 May, from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, at 142 rue Montmartre, 75002

Paris.
