ART DUBAI ANNOUNCES DATES FOR 20TH EDITION

Art Dubai returns to Madinat Jumeirah 17-19 April 2026 with preview days 15 and 16 April 2026

Art Dubai, the region’s leading international art fair, is set to return to Madinat Jumeirah from 17 to 19 April 2026, with preview days scheduled for 15 and 16 April. The 2026 edition holds special significance as it celebrates the fair’s 20th anniversary, marking two decades of shaping and spotlighting contemporary and modern art from across the Global South and beyond.

The upcoming milestone follows the resounding success of Art Dubai 2025, which welcomed over 35,000 visitors and showcased 120 gallery presentations representing more than 35 countries. The fair’s dynamic programming and inclusive curatorial approach once again affirmed its position as a leading platform for artistic exchange across the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia (MENASA), and other underrepresented global regions.

Since its inception, Art Dubai has served as a catalyst for creative dialogue and cultural exchange, consistently offering space for both established institutions and emerging voices. The 2025 edition featured standout moments across its Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba, and Digital sections—each of which introduced bold ideas, innovative commissions, and thought-provoking installations. Notable highlights included record numbers of institutional acquisitions, strong collector engagement, and an expansive talks programme that bridged critical thought and artistic innovation.
